Come and see the University of Manchester's High Voltage Lab. The IAS chapter is proud to present a HV lab tour with a lightning impulse demonstration from the lab manager followed by discussion with our members who work there.

Where we will explore a tour of our HV lab, a demonstration where you will see our HV equipment in action, and an engaging discussion with our researchers on HV applications from EEE, Chemical Engineering and Machine Learning to electrification of transportation and replacement of greenhouse gas applications.
Tickets must be booked in advance, make sure you get yours before they sell out as we have a limited number due to the HV lab requirements. As this is a tour of an access controlled area guests are asked to meet before the event in Engineering Building A (location to be detailed in ticket) before making our way over to the lab.
